Cute Photography Tricks

My daughter had a fun idea during a recent visit to the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. All you need is a steep hill and a little bit of patience. Make sure your camera settings are on landscape. Otherwise, you won't have everyone in focus.

This picture was taken in a bit of a hurry and I honestly didn't think it was going to turn out. I was pleasantly surprised when I uploaded it to my computer when we arrived home.

You could have a lot of fun creating different variations. I wish we had another party to take the pic so my daughter could have been in it too. It would have made a cute Christmas card photo.

Your blog looks good! We love Warren Dunes!! We've never been to Sleeping Bear, but I've heard it's great. What a cute picture your daughter took!

Blessings from a fellow Crew member!

Cute pic! We have a similar one of my daughter "leaning on" the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.

Welcome to the world of blogging. I'm relatively new at it myself and so far have found it to be both fun and addicting! As a side note, blogspot is WAAAAAAY easier than homeschoolblogger. I decided to do both formats so I could reach a broader audience. Homeschoolblogger is a closed forum (which is good in a lot of ways), but I wanted more people to be able to access my blog. I use pretty much the same content on both blogs, though.

Love the name of your blog. Oh, I'm also a member of the TOS Crew :-).

Hey there from yet ANOTHER TOS Crew member!!! I love love love this idea!

How to improve it: Open your picture in Paint, grab the dropper, click some sand which does NOT have a shadow on it, the click the paintbrush and paint CAREFULLY over the shadows of the two "in hand"... that'll take away the "trick"'s secret.

It's a SUPER fantastic picture...
Blessings,
Shannon

(and I like your blog name too... cute!)

Oh, great idea, Shannon! I had no idea you could do that. Very easy and the pic looks so much better!
