I Only Have One More Year as a Mom of a Tween

I have no more babies, no more preschoolers, and no more grade school students. In another year, my mothering of tweens is over.

My youngest turns 12 today.

This is my fun-loving guy.  He's a Lego-maniac, always quick to give hugs, loves to play family games, and is just an easy- going, happy kid.  Most days at least. I do get glimmers of surly teenagedom lurking around the corner sometimes.  I suspect today won't be one of those days, though.  Happy birthday, Bud!

Next year on this day, I'll be mom to teenS.  Yes, plural.  Am I ready for it?  That is still yet to be decided.  At least I have a year to figure it out.

I'm so glad to have you following again, Heather! Not sure what is up with GFC. I'll have to check and make sure I'm still on your GFC if you've moved. Now that I think of it, I don't think I've seen you in my reader lately. Thanks for the birthday wishes and kind words!

I'm right there with ya! My youngest just turned 12 and keeps reminding me of how many years to go until he can drive! My oldest is 18 and that's weird too!

The blessings are abundant and the prayers are plenty!
